CONTESTANT REGISTRATION INFORMATION & REQUIREMENTS

FOR AGES 19-28 YEARS OLD

Thank you for your interest in becoming a candidate for Miss Philippines New York. This program is dedicated to empowering young Filipinas by providing a platform that celebrates culture, leadership, and personal growth. Our goal is to support and elevate voices within the Filipino community through confidence-building, community engagement, and cultural pride.

 

We encourage you to complete this application with honesty and care. Please be assured that all personal information submitted will be treated with the utmost confidentiality and reviewed only by the official Miss Philippines New York selection committee.

ELIGIBILITY AND PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS

To qualify for participation, each contestant must meet the following criteria:

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  • Gender Requirement: Must be female, assigned female at birth, and identify as female.

  • Ethnic Background: Must be of Filipino descent (at least one parent or grandparent must be Filipino).

  • Age Requirement: Must be between 19 and 28 years old at the time of the pageant.

  • Marital Status: Must be single, never married, and have no children.

  • Residency: Must reside in United States

  • Legal Status: Must be legally permitted to reside in the United States.

  • Language Proficiency: Basic proficiency in English is required. Knowledge of Filipino languages is welcomed but not required.​

 MORAL & CHARACTER REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be of good moral character and respectful reputation within the community.

  • Must not have any current or pending criminal charges or public misconduct records.​

HEALTH & AVAILABILITY

  • Must be in good physical and mental health to participate in pageant events.

  • Must be able to attend all mandatory rehearsals, fittings, orientation sessions, and event activities.

  • Must be available for the full competition period, including rehearsals, appearances, and the coronation night.​

REPRESENTATION AND CONDUCT

  • Must agree to represent Miss Philippines New York with integrity, respect, and professionalism during the pageant and in any public appearance thereafter.

  • Must refrain from any behavior—online or in person—that could bring disrepute to the organization or community.

  • Must be open to participating in interviews, media opportunities, and cultural events organized by the foundation.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Must submit the following by the posted deadline:

  1.  A completed registration form

  2. Three recent photographs (One Professional Headshot, One Full-body Photo In Polished Attire, One Stunning Image In A Formal Gown Or Dress)

  3. Valid government-issued ID (to verify age and residence)

  4. Short essay responses and optional talent details

  5. Any additional documents requested by the organizing committee​​

REGISTRATION FEE AND PAYMENT

  • A non-refundable entry fee of $100 is required only after you have been officially accepted as a candidate following the interview process.

  • Payment details and instructions will be provided once your candidacy is confirmed.

CULTURAL APPRECIATION

  • Contestant should express genuine interest in Filipino culture and values and be willing to participate in a brief Q&A segment on stage.

​ADDITIONAL TERMS

  • If selected as a titleholder, you agree to actively participate in community service projects, cultural events, and public appearances throughout your reign as part of your commitment to representing Miss Philippines New York.

  • All judging decisions are final.

  • Providing false information or violating the code of conduct may result in disqualification or loss of title.

PLEASE NOTE: REGISTRATION CLOSES ON MARCH 29, 2026, AND THE CORONATION NIGHT WILL BE HELD ON JUNE 6, 2026. WE ENCOURAGE ALL INTERESTED CANDIDATES TO APPLY EARLY TO ENSURE ELIGIBILITY.

Submit three (3) recent, high-quality photos:

• One professional-style headshot

• One full-body photo in a polishes look

• One stunning image in a formal gown or dress that highlights her elegance and grace

• Make sure the photos are clear, bright, and show her personality

• Minimum size: 1MB each

We’re thrilled about your interest in joining Miss Philippines New York! Please read this important update regarding registration for all divisions — including Little Miss, Junior Miss, Teen Miss, Miss, and Mrs.:

 

A non-refundable registration fee of $100 is required only after you (or your child) have successfully completed the initial interview.

This fee:

• Officially secures your spot and title in the division you’re participating in

• Is credited toward your total pageant payment

• Confirms your commitment to the pageant experience

Full payment is due by: April 17, 2026 (Candidates are welcome to submit their payment any time prior to this date to secure their official placement in the pageant.)
