CONTESTANT REGISTRATION INFORMATION & REQUIREMENTS
FOR AGES 20 YEARS OLD AND UP
Thank you for your interest in becoming a candidate for Miss Philippines New York. This program is dedicated to empowering young Filipinas by providing a platform that celebrates culture, leadership, and personal growth. Our goal is to support and elevate voices within the Filipino community through confidence-building, community engagement, and cultural pride.
We encourage you to complete this application with honesty and care. Please be assured that all personal information submitted will be treated with the utmost confidentiality and reviewed only by the official Miss Philippines New York selection committee.

ELIGIBILITY AND PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS
To qualify for participation, each contestant must meet the following criteria:
1. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Gender Requirement: Must be female, assigned female at birth, and identify as female.

Ethnic Background: Must be of Filipino descent (at least one parent or grandparent must be Filipino).

Age Requirement: Must be between 20 – 35 years old at the time of the pageant.

Marital Status: Must be single, never married, and have no children.

Residency: Must reside in United States

Legal Status: Must be legally permitted to reside in the United States.

Language Proficiency: Basic proficiency in English is required. Knowledge of Filipino languages is welcomed but not required.
2. MORAL & CHARACTER REQUIREMENTS

Must be of good moral character and respectful reputation within the community.

Must not have any current or pending criminal charges or public misconduct records.
3. HEALTH & AVAILABILITY
-
Must be in good physical and mental health to participate in pageant events.
-
Must be able to attend all mandatory rehearsals, fittings, orientation sessions, and event activities.

Must be available for the full competition period, including rehearsals, appearances, and the coronation night.
4. REPRESENTATION AND CONDUCT
-
Must agree to represent Miss Philippines New York with integrity, respect, and professionalism during the pageant and in any public appearance thereafter.

Must refrain from any behavior—online or in person—that could bring disrepute to the organization or community.

Must be open to participating in interviews, media opportunities, and cultural events organized by the foundation.
5. APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

Must submit the following by the posted deadline:

A completed registration form

Three recent photographs (One Professional Headshot, One Full-body Photo In Polished Attire, One Stunning Image In A Formal Gown Or Dress)

Valid government-issued ID (to verify age and residence)
-
Short essay responses and optional talent details
-
Any additional documents requested by the organizing committee
6. REGISTRATION FEE AND PAYMENT

Please note the following payment process:

Step 1: All interested candidates must first complete and submit the registration form in full.

Step 2: After submitting your form, you will be invited to a brief interview with the selection committee.

Step 3: If you are accepted as an official candidate, a non-refundable fee of $100 will be required immediately to confirm your participation.

Step 4: A remaining balance (to be specified) will be due within 30 days of your official acceptance.

📌 Important: No payment is required at the time of initial registration. You will only be asked to pay once you have passed the interview and are officially confirmed as a candidate.

Payment instructions will be provided upon acceptance. All fees are non-refundable.
7. CULTURAL APPRECIATION

Contestant should express genuine interest in Filipino culture and values and be willing to participate in a brief Q&A segment on stage.
8. ADDITIONAL TERMS

If selected as a titleholder, you agree to actively participate in community service projects, cultural events, and public appearances throughout your reign as part of your commitment to representing Miss Philippines New York.

All judging decisions are final.

Providing false information or violating the code of conduct may result in disqualification or loss of title.
PLEASE NOTE: REGISTRATION CLOSES ON MARCH 29, 2026, AND THE CORONATION NIGHT WILL BE HELD ON JUNE 6, 2026. WE ENCOURAGE ALL INTERESTED CANDIDATES TO APPLY EARLY TO ENSURE ELIGIBILITY.
