Community participation complements the competition and helps develop well-rounded young leaders.

• What is Miss Pre-Teen Philippines New York?

Miss Pre-Teen Philippines New York is a cultural and confidence-building program designed to help young girls celebrate Filipino heritage while developing self-esteem, responsibility, and leadership skills in a supportive environment.

• Who can join?

The program is open to Filipina girls ages

MISS PRE-TEEN FOR AGES 8 –11  YEARS OLD

MISS JUNIOR TEEN PHILIPPINES NEW YORK AGES 12 – 15 YEARS OLD

MISS YOUNG PHILIPPINES NEW YORK AGES 16 – 18  YEARS OLD

• Is this a beauty pageant?

This program focuses on confidence, character, and cultural pride rather than physical appearance. It emphasizes personality, presentation, and positive values.

• Do contestants need experience?

No experience is required. First-time participants are welcome and will receive guidance and encouragement throughout the program.

• What are the judging criteria?

Judges look for confidence, poise, communication skills, cultural awareness, and positive attitude.

• What activities are included?

Activities may include cultural wear, age-appropriate attire, introduction, and a short question-and-answer segment.

• Are parents or guardians involved?

Yes. Parent or guardian involvement is required, and at least one adult must be present at all official activities.

• Are rehearsals required?

Yes. Rehearsals help participants feel comfortable and prepared in a fun, supportive setting.

• What does the titleholder learn?

The titleholder gains confidence, public speaking skills, cultural pride, and opportunities to participate in community events.
