Mission Statement
The mission of the Miss Philippines New York Foundation, Inc. is to empower young Filipina-Americans by promoting leadership, cultural pride, education, community service, scholarships, underprivileged individual and support for military families.
Through programs, partnerships, and its affiliation with the Miss Philippines New York pageant, the Foundation aims to cultivate self-confidence, civic engagement, and personal excellence among young women of Filipino heritage.
In addition to youth empowerment, the Foundation is committed to:
• Supporting underprivileged communities.
• Advocating for individuals and families affected by cancer.
• Providing scholarships to deserving students.
• Supporting military families and addressing issues such as food insecurity during challenging times.
Through outreach initiatives and community partnerships, the Foundation strives to provide care, resources, and education, raising awareness and promoting equity, health, and meaningful social change.

To be a leading platform for nurturing the next generation of Filipina-American leaders, advocates, cultural ambassadors, and community servants, celebrating Filipino identity, strengthening community connections, and creating lasting impact through service, scholarships, and support for military families in New York and beyond.

FEEDING THE HEROES - GOVERNMENT SHUT DOWN
Hello everyone,
The Miss Philippines New York Foundation, led by Mrs. Philippines New York 1st Runner-Up Mayrell Mushtare and Little Miss Philippines New York Mikayla Mushtare, is proud to launch “Feeding Heroes”, a special initiative to support military families during the government shutdown.
As a military spouse and mother of a military child, Mayrell knows first hand the challenges families face when paychecks are delayed. Even though Mayrell didn’t win the crown, her platform fighting military food insecurity remains at the heart of her mission.
This campaign will provide groceries, gift cards, and care packages to military families in need. All food and supplies will be distributed at the YMCA parking lot in the community.
Transparency is our promise: The Foundation will provide receipts and photos of all purchases and distributions to show exactly how donations are used.
This initiative combines the heart of our pageant platform with action to serve the community, honoring our heroes and their families who sacrifice so much. Thank you for standing with us as we stand with them. 🇺🇸
