Just hours after being crowned, Mrs. Philippines New York Mayrell Mushtare, together with Miss Philippines New York Nathalie Dela Cueva and Little Miss Celestinial Mikayla Mushtare, proudly joined the NYC Philippine Independence Day Parade, celebrating Filipino heritage, unity, and pride in the heart of New York City.
Their dedication reflects the spirit of our queens,showing up for the community and proudly representing Filipino culture wherever they go.
Miss Philippines New York is also proud to partner with Pinoy Pride Balikbayan Box, supporting a cherished Filipino tradition that keeps families and communities connected across the miles.
COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECTS
WOMEN EMPOWERMENT
On July 10, 2026 in Missouri, Mayrell Mushtare, Mrs. Philippines New York 2026, joined Little Miss Celestinial Mikayla in a meaningful community initiative supporting women in need. As part of Mayrell’s advocacy for women’s empowerment, they collected gently used clothing for a women’s shelter in Missouri, providing support to women who may have had to leave their homes with very little.
This initiative was made possible by the generosity of military spouses and service members who donated clothing to help bring comfort, dignity, and hope to women rebuilding their lives. Through compassion, service, and community, this initiative reflects the importance of women supporting women and the positive impact that can be created when a community comes together with purpose
SERVICE BEYOND CROWN
On July 10, 2026 in Missouri, Mrs. Philippines New York 2026, Mayrell Mushtare, spent the day volunteering at Manna Church’s annual Free Yard Sale. She arrived without knowing anyone there and, without mentioning her title, simply asked if they needed an extra hand. She joined the other volunteers and helped sort through donations, organize items, hang gowns and clothing, and fold garments in preparation for the event.
Manna Church hosts the Free Yard Sale each year as a way to serve the community, allowing individuals and families to select donated clothing and other items completely free of charge. Mayrell worked alongside the other volunteers throughout the day, helping wherever she was needed. It was not until the end that she shared that she was Mrs. Philippines New York 2026. What began as a simple offer to help became a meaningful reminder that service is not about a title, but about being present and willing to give your time to others.
GIVING BACK TO FOSTER CHILDREN & FAMILIES
On July 11, 2026, Mayrell Mushtare, Mrs. Philippines New York, volunteered at Fostering Together in Missouri, helping at their newly opened store dedicated to serving foster children and families. The store allows foster children and foster families to receive clothing, shoes, and other necessities completely free of charge. Mayrell was honored to lend a helping hand and support the wonderful work being done for foster families throughout the community.
