FROM CORONATION NIGHT TO THE NYC PHILIPPINE INDEPENDENCE DAY PARADE
Just hours after being crowned, Little Miss Celestinial Mikayla Mushtare, together with Mrs. Philippines New York Mayrell Mushtare and Miss Philippines New York Nathalie Dela Cueve, proudly joined the NYC Philippine Independence Day Parade, celebrating Filipino heritage, unity, and pride in the heart of New York City.
Their dedication reflects the spirit of our queens,showing up for the community and proudly representing Filipino culture wherever they go.
Miss Philippines New York Organization is also proud to partner with Pinoy Pride Balikbayan Box, supporting a cherished Filipino tradition that keeps families and communities connected across the miles.
COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECTS
WOMEN EMPOWERMENT
On July 10, 2026, Mikayla Mushtare, Little Miss Celestinial 2026, joined Miss Philippines New York Mayrell in a meaningful community service initiative to support women in need.
Together, they collected gently used clothing for a women’s shelter in Missouri, helping provide essential items to women who may have had to leave their homes with very little.
With generous donations from military spouses, service members, and members of the community, the initiative was a beautiful example of people coming together to help others. Through her participation, Little Miss Celestinial 2026 continues to learn the importance of kindness, compassion, and giving back to the community.
SUPPORTING FOSTER CHILDREN & FAMILIES
On July 11, 2026, Mikayla Mushtare, Little Miss Celestinial 2026, volunteered at Fostering Together in Missouri, lending a helping hand at their newly opened store. The store provides a welcoming place where foster children and foster families can receive clothing, shoes, and other essential items completely free of charge. Mikayla was grateful for the opportunity to give her time and help support children and families within the foster care community.
